For a protein-packed snack, try these hummus-filled eggs topped with olives and smoked paprika. The combination of flavors is more exciting than your average deviled egg. And, each serving is extremely satisfying pieces!
This healthy treat your kids and family will enjoy! Why not try a healthy treat during the fall season or for that matter any time. These spider eggs are so cute and perfect for a Halloween party. What a great idea! Strictly speaking, spiders have eight legs, so that’s what I gave these little cuties. Spooky Spider Eggs
Ingredients
- 8 hard-boiled eggs, cut in half lengthwise, yolks discarded
- ½ cup prepared hummus
- 10 Kalamata olives, chopped
- Ground smoked paprika (to taste; optional)
Instructions
- Fill each egg white half with 1½ tsp. hummus.

If deviling your eggs isn’t enough this Halloween, spider them too. Cuts pitted black olives in half lengthwise and nestles one half on top of an egg for the body, and then cuts the other half crosswise into thin slices to form the creepy legs.
